Wetherby Speakers Club is part of the The Association of Speakers Clubs, a non-profit making self help organisation formed to help people develop and improve their communication skills.
The ASC has approximately 120 clubs in 8 districts across the United Kingdom and a membership of about 1,800 people.
The Wetherby Club was founded in 1978, and has held meetings in a variety of venues in the Wetherby area over the years. Our current home is the Days Inn Hotel at Wetherby Services on Junction 46 of the A1M.
Wetherby Speakers Club is part of the Vale of York Area, along with York R.I. Speakers Club. The Vale of York Area is part of the Eastern District, together with the Yorkshire Dales and North East England areas.
